I believe that a lot of car lovers around will take the RV as their dream, take the family with the dog to drive the car and take a trip around the world. These seem to be the only thing that can be done with an RV. And you know what? RVs have been developed and evolved for more than a hundred years to become a cozy little home today. Today, I'm going to talk about the RV culture of RVing.
Speaking of RV culture, the historical origin of the RV must not be missing.
After the end of World War I, many Americans used their cars to open their camping years. With tents, beds, and cooking utensils, they embarked on a journey in their automobiles. In the 1920s, many RV pioneers started making homes on wheels. They made simple houses out of wood in their own backyards and then fastened them to the chassis of their automobile's T-shape. RV camping clubs date back to the "can-can travelers" of the 1920s and 1930s. They were so called because these RV pioneers traveled across the continental U.S. before many of the nation's highways were paved, braving the bumpy, muddy roads in their old, beat-up cars. They often camped just off the side of the road, eating canned food heated on gasoline stoves and drinking cold water.
By the 1930s, RVs began to utilize airplane-style construction and were equipped with beds, dining tables and chairs, and power and water supplies. As the number of RVs continued to grow, so did the need for fully equipped RV campgrounds. After World War II, the RV industry boomed as more Americans sought a mobile lifestyle with the popularity of the automobile.
The RV industry boomed as more Americans sought a mobile lifestyle, and the father of RVing, Arthur G. Gee, became known as the father of the RV industry. Gee. Sherman, who bought a caravan of his own and built it into the first type of caravan. He then created the first production line capable of manufacturing covered trailers. He also pioneered the invention of varnish protection for caravan panels. This technological update can be said to have revolutionized the production of the entire RV industry. It changed the traditional RV production process of using cement-resistant layers, sandwich panels, and leather protectors for the exterior. He made a great contribution to the early caravanning industry, and his name has been recorded in the caravanning museum.
Today, there are two main types of RVs, one is the trailer RV and the other is the unibody RV.
Trailer RVs are one of the RVs, and unlike self-propelled RVs, trailer RVs are unpowered and require an additional vehicle to be towed and driven.
Unibody motorhomes are the most expensive and luxurious of the "motorhome family". Its main feature is that the cab and living area are designed together, and the driver and passengers do not need to get out of the car to enter the living area.
China has always been a country that likes self-driving tours, and many people like this mode of traveling that is close to nature and free and comfortable. However, ordinary self-driving cars have many inconveniences, such as the need to find a convenient parking place, which is particularly difficult in the pristine environment of the West. The emergence of RVs solved this problem.
When did RV culture enter China?
The earliest landed in mainland China's caravan is the original imported luxury configuration of high-grade travel and leisure vehicles, each car is priced at a minimum of more than 700,000 yuan, the highest more than 1 million yuan. In 1999, the first domestic enterprise engaged in caravan leasing, manufacturing and research and development, caravan operating agency and tourism projects was established. 2000, China's caravan industry in this year really took its own steps.
So far, the caravanning culture has been gradually accepted in China, and even gradually emerged. With this, the planning of RV campgrounds is also gradually on track.
China joined the World Car Camping Association in 2003, and currently there are about 40 caravanning camps of various types in China, involving Beijing, Tianjin, Xinjiang, Sichuan, Fujian, Hainan and other provinces and cities. Although China's caravanning industry started late compared to foreign countries, the development speed is faster. China's many scenic national forest parks, national nature reserves, world natural cultural heritage, etc., all play a role in promoting the development of China's caravanning industry. With the rapid development of China's economy, the RV campground planning industry is also bound to usher in new development opportunities.
Caravanning industry is a rapidly developing industry in the era of automobile personalization, although at present the caravanning and camping culture in China is not yet fully popular, but I believe that with the improvement of our living standards, the caravanning culture will gradually enter into our lives, let's look forward to it together!
